🤔Why Did I Create Conscious College?

I’m not a professor—I bring the unique perspective of a recent Cornell graduate who left disappointed in the quality of an Ivy League education. But that disappointment launched a quest: to uncover what truly effective learning, teaching, and human thriving looks like.

Along the way, I’ve taught 100s of college students in Cornell Outdoor Education (COE) and in education classes, worked with the world’s leading gamification consultancy The Octalysis Group, and created four video courses with five years of YouTube, podcasting, and blogging experience to an audience of 10,000+.

I noticed something strange. Professors and students rarely talk to each other. They're siloed into their own parts of University, both frustrated at each other yet not having the conversations which might lead to change.

That's why Conscious College bridges the perspectives of freshman students and tenured professors to create a college system that is enjoyable, engaging, and effective—not only at teaching subject matter, but at raising humanity’s knowledge, love, and consciousness. In essence, practicing spirituality.
